Artist Statement
Capturing unforgettable moments in photography is another way of performing music. The elements that constitute an image, such as colors, lines, shapes, textures, and patterns, all contain their own notes and beats that flow harmoniously together. As a soprano vocal alumnus and photographer, I aspire to convey the beauty of each of these components in my photographs. As an artist, my goal is to chase moments and capture images to instill a sense of peace and beauty that will resonate within the viewer’s heart. Overall, I hope that I could bring colors, light, and a melody into the world.
