Sunday, March 3 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
Sunday, March 10 from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M.
This 2 day workshop will be a continuation of the collagraph offered in January but is not restricted to former students. Anyone who is willing to experiment with this flexible and exciting media is invited to join. In this class, we will explore the great possibilities of the collagraph printmaking process. Using gel medium, gesso and carborundum gel medium, participants will create a richly textured plate, using cardboard as the base. The following week, the cardboard plate will be printed on the etching press using non-toxic inks and dampened paper.
All materials are included, but please bring an apron and gloves. Drawing skills are not necessary.
