How to Apply for Membership

Washington Printmakers Gallery review membership applicants monthly. Applicants are juried in with a majority vote by the WPG members.

If you are interested in applying for membership, you will need to submit a portfolio with:

  • 1 archival framed print
  • 6 unframed and un-matted prints
  • current resume
  • artist statement

In addition, you can provide a link to view work online. This is helpful but not required.

Deliver or ship your portfolio to the gallery the third week of the month. Portfolios are reviewed and judged the last week of the month, with ballots closing on Sunday. Applicants will be notified about the vote and pick up the following week.
