Gallery Rental


Located just outside DC, Washington Printmakers Gallery is a contemporary gallery setting, appropriate for receptions, holiday parties, board meetings, poetry readings, lectures, and presentations. This location is within walking distance of the Silver Spring Metro, on the red line. We share 22 free parking spaces with other tenants of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there are public parking garages located less than two blocks away.


This over-900 square foot space is on the second floor of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. It has a bright, modern, feeling, with exposed pipe-work, three large skylights, and artwork on the walls. Capacity is 100 people, standing.

The gallery is, air conditioned with separate men’s and women’s restrooms, wireless internet access, about 40 mixed folding chairs, two tables on wheels approx 3×5 feet, and a coat rack.


The gallery director or other gallery representative will open and close the gallery and will be present for the duration of the event. Set-up and clean-up are the full responsibility of the renter. The gallery premises must be left as it was found. All trash must be removed at the end of the event. The framed exhibitions of the month remain on the walls during the rental period.


The gallery is available for rent from 6 pm each evening, with possible set-up earlier, at the gallery director’s discretion.


> For events with up to 100 people: $150/hour* (20% discount for nonprofit organizations)
> Rental charges start at the time of set-up and run until the last person is out the door. We schedule special events outside of gallery hours.
> Deposits: $100 secures date, with balance due five days before event; separate $500 refundable security deposit due with rental contract.
> Refunds: 100% fee and deposit up to two weeks before event, 50% fee and deposit up to one week before event.

*Please note that our maximum capacity is 100 people for any event.
