Gallery Rental

Location

Located just outside of DC Proper, Washington Printmakers Gallery is a contemporary gallery setting, appropriate for receptions, holiday parties, board meetings, poetry readings, lectures, and presentations. This location is within walking distance of the Silver Spring Metro, on the red line. We share 22 free parking spaces with other tenants of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there are public parking garages located less than two blocks away.

Space

This over-900 square foot space is on the second floor of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. It has a bright, modern, feeling, with exposed pipe-work, three large skylights, and artwork on the walls. Capacity is 100 people, standing.

Amenities

The gallery is, air conditioned with  separate mens’ and womens’ restrooms, wireless internet access, about 40 mixed folding chairs, two tables on wheels approx 3×5 feet, and a coat rack.

Services

The gallery director or other gallery representative will open and close the gallery and will be present for the duration of the event. Set-up and clean-up are the full responsibility of the renter. The gallery premises must be left as it was found. All trash must be removed at the end of the event. The framed exhibitions of the month remain on the walls during the rental period.

Hours

The gallery is available for rent from 6 pm each evening, with possible set-up earlier, at the gallery director’s discretion.

Fees

For events with under 25 people: $75/hour ($100 if serving alcohol)***
For events with 26-100 people: $100/hour ($150 if serving alcohol)***
Rental charges start at the time of set-up and run until the last person is out the door.
Deposit: $100 secures date. $200 balance due 5 days before event.
Refunds: 100% fee and deposit up to two weeks before event.
50% fee and deposit up to one week before event.
Security Deposit: Refundable $500–due with rental contract.
