Closing Reception and Poe in Person

Join Director Annie Turner for the closing reception of "Director's Cut." Directly following the reception at 8:30 will be a performance by David Kelso, performing an authentic recreation of Edgar Allen Poe's public appearances and readings. "Poe in Person" is performed in conjunction with Pyramid Atlantic Art Center and the Big Read project. The Big Read inspires people across the nation to expose themselves to good literature and pick up a book and read!

WPG at the Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair

This is Pyramid Atlantic's 11th Biennial Book Arts Fair and Conference, and is the preeminent book arts event on the east coast. Now in its third decade, the fair will showcase a dynamic array of innovative book art, limited edition prints, fine papers, and specialty tools along with a rich program of notable speakers, demonstrations, and special exhibitions. This three day event will connect international artists, scholars, collectors, publishers, and art lovers. Serving to inform and inspire, the Book Arts Fair and Conference is a celebration of the printed form and the book as art.

WPG will include books by its artist members, including Margaret Adams Parker, Fleming Jeffries, Rosemary Cooley, and more. Members are also putting together a special portfolio of prints made specifically for this fair. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
