Artist Talk for Fearless Flying at Stimson Center
Join WPG member artist Marian Osher as she discusses her most recent Solo Exhibition, Fearless Flying.
This exhibition, first shown at Ceres Gallery in New York in May 2010, explores Osher's in-flight fascination with the textures and abstractions of the earth and clouds through colorful mixed media paintings and wall hangings, which have helped her combat her fear of flying. With honesty and humor, she also shares in writing, the personal experiences that contributed to her fear, including her 9/11 flight, as well as the various “tools” that enabled her to return to flying without fear.
Fearless Flying is on view at the Henry L. Simpson Center from June 8-September 16.
